Installed Building Products (IBP) is a Columbus-based installation contractor established in 1977 that now has over 7,000 employees at more than 175 locations throughout the U.S. They install a wide variety of building products - insulation, gutters, garage doors, shower doors, shelving, fireplaces, and more.
“It’s Hard Work" Brand Campaign
IBP was finding it difficult to attract employees while the economy was thriving and the unemployment rate was low. When they did attract people, they had a high turnover rate
because the new employees weren't used to the difficult work of installation and construction.
This campaign speaks to those who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
And yes, to reinforce the campaign, they gave out IBP branded deodorant to applicants at job fairs.
